Foreign delegation visited “Stakhanovets” Community Center in Perm

Delegates from France, Germany and the UK visited the Stakhanovets Community Center in Perm to learn about their ways of working with the residents. 

The tour of the center was led by the Deputy Mayor of perm City Lidia Korolyova. 

The guests were informed about the successful practices of the community center. Community works is one of the priorities fro the city and district administrations. The Stakhanovets is one of the 14 associations in the Industrial district of Perm,  and the Stakhanovsky Community Center has long become the attraction of the local residents. 

The center houses a number of NGOs running a variety of projects, like collecting old batteries at schools, rasing concern of the children fro their health, etc. 

Additional information: Perm City has 42 community centers which are used by over 180 NGOs.
